Joan Of Arc or Jehanne la Pucelle, "Joan the Maid"

NAME: Joan Of Arc

YEARS: A.D. 1412 - 1431

DEATH: Burned at the stake for heresy.
KEY POINTS: Joan of Arc was a very young maiden who sleeked to aid France against the ongoing assault of the English. Due to visions she received she was able to lead an army against the enemy and produce many victories. She wore male clothing instead of that of a maid to protect her chastity. She called for a sword that was buried behind an alter in the church at Ste-Catherine-de-Fierbois. Her armor was tailored to her fit and covered her frame. It had a white shine to it. The most important artifact she kept was that of her banner. It had an image of Christ with two angels on each side. She would carry only the banner into battle instead of a weapon. She was only wounded three times. Once by an arrow, another by a stone to her helmet and the third was a dart that pierced her thigh. She was captured by the English and burned at the stake on minor charges of heresy, but major charges of cross-dressing.

Joan of Arc is a particularly special figure. She was definitely divine and intuitively a great leader. Her life and death has no holes in it, due to very accurate eyewitnesses of her. I think we should see her as an individual who is known as part of the group, but a detailed story of her entrance into it is not given. All we know is that she had joined. Wither she had a handmaiden captured in her stead at the hill called "Monte-de-Clairoix,” or someone else was burned at the stake in her stead, will be unclear to the reader. We should though allow King Tutankhamen to have tutored in some way, allowing her to grow as a leader and military general. I believe that this will allow a variety to each important person's story. Her story will simply remain a miracle. We could even note at some time in the book of a burn on a part of an exposed limb, of which, she keeps covered with a handkerchief in the presence of others to add some mystery.
